Is this free?
Yes the app is free to use.
What data do you store?
Right now none of your data leaves your computer. In the future if a sync feature lands then we would store your email and deck files.
Does this app require an account?
There is no account support at all right now. In the future if a sync feature is added an account would be needed for that specifically, but the app will never require an account.
Can I use Sudhaus offline?
Sudhaus is a local-first app and consequently can be used offline. The local app is a better fit for this use case. Note that while you are offline the following will not work:
- card images
- prices
Why is the local app download so large?
The local app download includes a database of all Magic the Gathering cards.
Why was I prompted to download a database?
The browser app will need to download the database the first time it runs in a given browser.
You will also be prompted to download the database by both local and browser apps when new Magic the Gathering cards are released.
Can I import decks from other tools?
Sudhaus has support for importing decks from the following tools:
- Archidekt
- Moxfield
Where do you get your data from?
The cards data and imagery comes from Scryfall.
Where do the prices from?
Prices come from Manapool.
How can I back my decks up?
In the future there should be a sync feature that takes care of this for you.
Right now if you run the local app you can simply back up the entire app directory (see Configuration).
With both the browser and local app you can export your decks as Brew and save the text files.
What languages do you support?
For now just English is supported.
What currencies are supported for prices?
For now just USD is supported.
Does this work on mobile devices?
No, the app lacks support for touch and smaller screens at the moment.
